Like many of you, the past few months have been rather lonely as we’ve been separated from colleagues and customers, so it was with great excitement that we received the invitation to enter the Weddings Online competition.
With the wedding industry taking its biggest knock in recent history because of the Covid-19 lock down, it was exciting to see the wide range of folk in the industry who have gone above and beyond the call of duty to help couples to have the wedding of their dreams, despite very difficult circumstances.
Our competition submission included examples of some of our latest bridal jewellery designs, a description of what Martin Gear Jewellers is all about and some heart-warming reviews. We also spent some time reminiscing about some of the amazing couples we have helped over the years, which was a lovely way to lift the spirits in the middle of heavy lock down when we submitted to the competition.
While the process of entering the Weddings Online competition was a welcome distraction for us, there were many amazing jewellers in the running so we were delighted to be informed that we’d made the finalist list.
After months of waiting we were informed that we’d won the exclusive title of Wedding Online Jeweller of the Year Award – an announcement we celebrated together (via zoom of course). A huge thank you to the team, our wonderful customers, and Weddings Online.
